From Birmingham
Approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes via the M5 southbound, then follow the A30 westbound into Cornwall and exit towards Tintagel via the A395 and A39.
From Manchester
Around 5 hours and 30 minutes via the M6, M5 and A30. A beautiful route with changing landscapes and restful service stops along the way.
From London
The journey takes about 4 hours and 45 minutes. Take the M4 west, join the M5 south at Bristol, then continue on the A30 into Cornwall.
From Bristol
Just over 2 hours and 30 minutes. Travel south via the M5, then west on the A30 before following signs to Tintagel and Camelot Castle.
On arrival, a large on-site car park is available free of charge to hotel guests.
The nearest mainline station is Bodmin Parkway, with direct services from London Paddington, Bristol Temple Meads, Exeter St Davids and beyond.
From Bodmin Parkway, the drive to Camelot Castle takes around 45 minutes by taxi or a pre-booked transfer provided by a third-party operator. We’re happy to help arrange this; please contact our reception team.
Cornwall Airport Newquay offers seasonal and year-round flights from key UK and international cities including London, Manchester, Edinburgh and Dublin. The airport is around 45 minutes from the castle by car.
Car hire and private transfers from third-party providers are available from the airport. Camelot Castle does not operate an airport shuttle, but reception can help coordinate a private transfer when given your arrival time.
For a truly memorable arrival, Camelot Castle can be reached directly by helicopter from London and other locations across the UK.
